Server Down August 22 for Massive Update

ReadtheKanji.com will be down from 8:00am Monday, August 22nd, to 8:00am Tuesday, August 23rd CST. We plan on it taking a day, although we will try to have the system up and running as soon as possible. During this time users will not be able to access ReadtheKanji.comor their accounts. We will be updating the entire site to a new system on the backend that will pave the way for future improvements. This update will also fix any issues with the recurring payment system.
Although we are sorry for the inconvenience, we are also really excited for all of the improvements to come!
Here is the short scoop on what’s happening with Read the Kanji: We completely gutted and revamped the backend system to better-handle maintenance updates, improvements and new features as they come down the pipeline. We are taking the server down to move everything over to the new system. We are also developing other improvements, including a new interface, that are scheduled to release this fall, and we think it will totally be worth the wait. We’ll share more with you as it approaches.
