Annnnnnnnd We’re Back!

Read the Kanji is back online!

We’ve made some big changes that will mostly go unnoticed, as they are entirely on the backend of the system. To allow for easier implementation and greater scalability of future improvements, we refactored the entire system. This will allow us to improve the algorithm (more on this to come), add new features, and introduce a new interface over the coming months.

As much as we hate doing it, we had to shut down the server in order to migrate everyone over to the new system before spooling the site back up. Unfortunately, the migration and testing took longer than expected, so we apologize for keeping you from Read the Kanji for this unforeseen downtime.

Now that Read the Kanji is back online, if you happen to run into any issues, please notify us at support@readthekanji.com so we can investigate and resolve it.
